Like all Fortius / TTS users know, the TTSoftware is stubborn.
This is especially true when you want to use third party / non-original video footage, that must be installed manual.
TTS1.x
TTS 1.x
TTS 1.0 was the first of the series. It runs in Win XP and Windows Vista(32 bit).
Could work in Win7-32bit also?
Lot of problems with the software were solved with the last and final update (took ages and 6 updates before all problems were solved): version 1.3.3.0
I am the lucky owner of the TTS 1.3.3.0 software – for me it’s the only version that always works!
Also the software can import all third party / non-original video footage and make .tts files from them.
How to do that, see "How to make .tts files".

TTS2.x
TTS 2.x
My experience with the problems from the TTS 1.0 made me skip this version. It turned out that this one had a lot of problems also.

TTS3.x
TTS 3.x
I bought this version when they released TTS 3.4
It worked ok with Tacx original RLV. When I started to use third party / non-original video the software got buggy.
Problems like:
Software freezes or crashes or doesn't start up.
Catalyst doesn’t work in the software.
Videos don’t show or play slow/fast
Another problem is importing .tts files might force TTS3.x to crash or even start in light mode or force the breake into high resistance when using "Home made" RLV
How to fix problems with high resistance from the brake when using third party RLV
Importing the .tts file into 3.x might give a problem(depending on the software version/update) with high resistance from the brake.
- This can be avoided by creating a new route, where you remove a few meters from the start of the video.
- Another possibilityis to import a result file(RLVname_username_Score_xx-xx-201x.tts) from the whole route. Then the route runs smoothly from the start + you also have a opponent to run against
How to create a new route:
Select the route you want to use, and click "Create"
Click and drag the triangle to adjust the length.
Name the route and click "Save"
The new profile is ready to use
Select Route and the new Course and ride......
Tacx made a Tacx Diagnostic Tool that might solve most of the above problems with TTS 3.x (guess it works on TTS2.x and 4.x also).

TTS4.x
TTS 4.x
Short after I bought the TTS3.4 Tacx released the TTS 4.0
TTsoftware is not exactly cheap and the problems encountered with the previous versions........
High resistance on the brake: Most, if not all, of my RLV has a TTS3 fixed profile - use that.
If the TTS3 fixed profile still gives the high resistance on TTS4 - mail me and I will try to modify the .tts file for you.
User tip - video problems: Turns out that TTS 4.9 has two different video player options and changing it back to Player 1.0 solves some video problems.
